My family shoots

My photography is a celebration of family, connection, love, and real life, in all its messy, imperfect and intense glory! 

It’s an account of our humanity, unscripted.

For me, beauty is in simple, real, and intimate moments – so there will be no awkward posing, forced smiles, impersonal props, or photoshopping off chocolate moustaches! Just your family connecting and being yourselves. 

Being photographed doesn’t have to be painful and cringy! Think of it as a friendly hangout, where you spend quality time focused on each other and I’ll document the moments as they happen organically while we chat about life and parenthood. Kids always love their shoot, they get an hour or two with you fully present - playing, connecting, and doing their favourite things. I don’t make them sit still and smile - I’m here for the full range of facial expressions and emotions. They are so in the moment, earnest and unapologetically themselves and that’s what I want to capture.

My clients always comment on how fun and relaxed their shoots were and how they forgot they were being photographed.

Also, as a mum myself, there are never any expectations or judgement from me, just a whole lot of love, compassion, and admiration.

You can either have a cosy day playing at home, making pancakes, reading, whatever floats your boat! Or, for the nature-loving muddy puddle jumpers, den makers, stick and snail finders, tree climbers, and wild explorers, we can head out for a walk in your favourite place. Or! BOTH!
